Vito was born and raised in Matera, Italy. The lineage of his family has called Matera home for generations. When he met his American wife, Collin, she fell in love with the unique history that felt undiscovered in her home in the U.S. Together they created a pathway of discovery for those who had not had the opportunity to learn about, and visit, this extraordinary place. Why Matera? This incredible Italian city is the third oldest, continuously inhabited city in the world. It’s history dates back 9000 years.
